What is the WEBB?

About Us | Mission Statement | Privacy Policy | Supporting Our Community| WITNC Conference

The Women's Educational Business Breakfast was formed in 1998 to serve the growing information and networking needs of women in the west end of Ottawa. It has grown to include women from the entire City of Ottawa and outlying areas.

We have a varied membership of women who have backgrounds including the financial, health care and communications professions from the private and public sectors as well as many home-based businesses.

The WEBB's quarterly breakfast sessions provide a networking opportunity that lasts 30 to 45 minutes, followed by an informal presentation by a guest speaker, and a question and answer session. Speakers are recruited from within the group, or are invited from outside the WEBB to speak on a topic of interest identified by members. WEBB participants are encouraged to complete an annual questionnaire; feedback from this tool helps guide the WEBB in recruiting speakers.
